Intake & Diagnostic Assessment
$275.00

The Diagnostic Assessment (DA) session, is often referred to as an Intake session. These sessions are typically completed one to two times per year (at the first visit & again on an annual basis; per certain insurance’s expectancy for use of mental health benefits), & are approximately 55-60 minutes in length. Both the intake assessment & diagnostics are required by Professional Licensing Boards, & State regulated guidelines; as well as by insurance carriers, for clients who are intending to use their mental health benefits on therapy services rendered. Private, or self-pay, services still require completion of a DA/Intake, per the Professional’s Board & State expectations.

Standard/Follow-up Sessions
$185.00

Follow-up sessions are the visits that occur in therapy after the DA/Intake session(s) have been completed. These are typically 45 minutes in length, & are used to address most standard levels of care in counseling.

At times, there is need for higher care/time spent in sessions, or certain specialty services that may have been requested by the client as a therapy modality, & these needs could require both a different length of time used, & higher fee level billed for such services (e.g. addressing PTSD or C-PTSD, & may use methods, such as EMDR-based strategies for trauma-focused therapy). For these types of services, please refer to the “Specialty/Advanced Therapy” Services section.

Specialty/Advanced Therapy Services
$215.00

Specialty/Advanced sessions are typically 55-60 minutes in length, & are used to address needs requiring a higher level of treatment, different therapy methods or modalities used, more intensive goals & treatment planning, &/or requires more time spent to be spent in a therapy session beyond the standard level of care. These specialty/advanced services require both a different/extended length of time used, & often has a higher fee-for services billed also (e.g. addressing PTSD or C-PTSD may bring on consideration for methods, such as EMDR-based strategies to be used for trauma-focused therapy).

Snag a Consult.

A short consult (by email or phone) can be arranged with the professional, before therapy services start, regarding therapy-related questions not already answered on the website.

Brief Consults offer time to:

1) Discuss private/self-pay options, and/or the use of insurance benefits for plans considered in-network with the provider, and how to go about using these options.

2) Ask for further details about the strategies offered by the professional in therapy, and to see if these align with the client’s vision for therapy goals hoping to be addressed.

3) Determine if a referral to another professional, or other specialty services elsewhere might be more suitable; and

4) Confirm all parties involved are comfortable in making an active choice to move forward with the therapy services discussed.
